I took about 4000 to 5000 questions and it was one of the important factors for me passing in the first attempt.
Following are the resources I found really useful.
Chapter wise |
Domain wise questions [y/n] | Full set questions | Total questions
Official study guide 9th ed | 420 | 4*125 = 500 | 920
Official practise test 3rd ed | - | 8*100 = 800 | 4*125 = 500 | 1300 |
Boson CISSP exam prep engine | - | - | 5*125 = 500 | 700 |
All in one | - | 400 | 400 | |
Total tester - All in one (register the book online) | - | 1600+ | 1600
Total | 5000 |
Facing 5k questions is not an easy task and you need to have a plan.
Even if you take like 20 questions a day, you need to have time to revise all options and enrich your knowledge by reading the explanation.
Ideally, once you have completed a domain, try taking the domain exam. Try to have a run rate of 60 to 70 minutes per 50 questions.
You may need around three months to face approx 3000 questions.
As per NDA, I signed before taking the exam, we are not supposed to discuss the real exam, the type of questions asked or discuss anything about the questions. Also, we don't encourage people to distribute pirated copies or PDF documents.
Even if your score is around 70 or 60 in the exams, as long as your learning on why you scored less and you should be fine. Stick to the fundamentals, process, and there should not a topic that is new to you.
Best of luck!
